Christopher Najera – Associate Attorney, Dallas Office
About
Chris was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He is a first-generation graduate and second-generation immigrant—with his family originating from Mexico.
His education began in his hometown of Amarillo, where he attended Amarillo College from 2012-2015 and obtained his Associate of Science degree in Liberal Arts. In 2015, Chris moved down to Lubbock, Texas to attend Texas Tech University and, in 2017, obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a minor in Spanish. Chris started his career in the fall of 2018 by working as a paralegal with Whittenburg Law Firm for nearly three years where he proved to be a wonderful asset to our clients. He then went on to attend Texas Tech University School of Law from 2021-2024 and, during that time, also served Whittenburg Law Firm as a law clerk. Chris became licensed in the State of Texas in October of 2024.
For a brief time after becoming licensed, Chris returned to Amarillo to practice Family Law. He ultimately decided that he would return to where his passion for law began: immigration. His passion to serve the immigrant community ignited his desire to return to Whittenburg Law Firm. In May of 2025, he began practicing exclusively Immigration and Nationality Law.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, running, and enjoying the small things that nature has to offer.
